During our stay, we had the pleasure of exploring the historic sights of the Altstadt, thanks to the perfect location of this charming hotel. The small, old-world inn atmosphere added to the overall experience, making it one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in. The local food served at the restaurant was not only tasty but also affordable, and the variety of good beer available was a bonus. After a long day of work, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were attentive and did their best to address any concerns we had. The rooms, although small, were clean and provided all the necessary amenities. The bathrooms in the modern building were spacious and well-appointed, and the complimentary toiletries were of the highest quality we have encountered. We also appreciated the free apples available throughout the day. Despite a few drawbacks, such as the lack of air conditioning in the historic building and some difficulty finding our way around the different buildings, we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at this historic hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique charm, excellent location, and friendly service.

Breakfast was quite good, with a few freshly baked goods, and it was located conveniently near the central market and the train station. I appreciated how kind the staff was.
the rooms were cramped and dirty, with a musty smell.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a great experience. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, meats, and yoghurt. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the historic district, making it easy to explore the town's attractions. The best aspect was the staff, who were very helpful and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
That our room was quite warm and the fan did little to cool it down. However, this was a minor issue given the otherwise wonderful experience at the hotel.
